Ms. Thobois painting students are working on a creative color wheel. Each student produced a different version of a color wheel. They are learning to mix all colors using only the primary colors of red, yellow, and blue.

For this week’s vocab assignment, students in Mr. Hanlin's English 9 class used their knowledge of connotation, synonyms, and antonyms to build collages of their vocab. Students were to find examples of their terms in pop culture, social media, and literature to relate the different meanings and usage of their terms.
Students in Mr. Foley's simulated workplace course, Practical Applications of Wellness, are currently studying the deadlift and auxiliary lifts that help strengthen the hips.

Buoyancy, force and density were the topics of discussion for Option Pathway students during a team building activity in Mrs. Hodge's classroom. The students worked with a partner to build boats out of duck tape and straws only. Option Pathway is an additional pathway available at Grafton High School that leads students to a high school diploma and completer status in one or more CTE areas.

Our Grafton High School Cheerleaders would like to invite all of their supporting community, friends and family to the Friends and Family Dress Rehearsal Night! Not only will this be a opportunity for everyone to see our Bearcats but we will also be hosting the Bearcub cheerleaders and are hopeful it will work out so our Middle School Knights will be able to attend also !
The Rehearsal will be held in the Scotty Hamilton Gymnasium on November 2nd and performances will start at 7:00 ! We will ask, because we are hopefully expecting a large crowd and this will be indoors, that everyone wears a mask inside ! We hope to see LOTS of people there supporting our county’s cheerleading program as a whole ! 💙💛📣❤️🖤

As Mrs. Bartlett's library students begin to explore the books that are in our library stacks and "see what's there," she had them do Bookface (instead of Facebook). They had to browse or use the card catalog to find books with faces and create Bookface images. They reviewed the books and submitted images.
To encourage participation and school spirit during this week, we are awarding gift cards to the best dressed students at GHS on the given Spirit Days. Yesterday, the two winners for the day were Larkin Nicholson (Country Club) and Abby Swiger (Country). Congratulations!
