Attention TCMS 8th grade students and families: GHS Counselors will be coming to do our scheduling day at TCMS on 3/17. Please be sure that your student is present that day. CTE Month Student Spotlight Izzy Carroll Bake and Pastry Completer After graduation, Izzy plans to attend Pierpont Community and Technical College. She will pursue a degree in Bake and Pastry. Izzy is also a competing member of SkillsUSA. She is employed by The Bridge Sports Complex and works in the Cafe. She was recognized as The Bridge Sports Complex Employee of the Month in June 2024. #ThisIsCTE #NTHS #CTEMonth

Varsity Ball week is coming up! Here are your 2025 Varsity Ball Spirit Days. Reminder that the Varsity Ball Dance will be held on March 1st from 7-10 pm at GHS. Let's make it a fun week! On Friday, 2/28 we will host the Backyard Brawl staff game - GHS will take on TCMS in a volleyball match. Wear your blue and gold on this day to support your staff members playing for the Backyard Brawl victory! If you plan to bring a guest, you MUST fill out the guest request form and submit to Mr. McCarthy by February 21st.

CLASS OF 2025: The Natalea Mumaw Scholarship is now available for GHS Seniors planning to attend a trade school after graduation. Application is posted on Class of 2025 TEAMS. All submissions are due by 4/16.

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2025: New Scholarships have been added to TEAMS if you are interested in applying. If you are a current senior who does not have access to the Class of 2025 TEAMS, please email Mrs. Himes to be added.

CTE Month Student Spotlight Harmonie Schroeder Therapeutic Services Completer After graduation, Harmonie plans to attend college. She is considering Fairmont State or Pierpont. She will pursue studies in Nursing and obtaining of her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse. She is interested in pediatrics and will work as a CNA while attending college. CTE Month Student Spotlight Connor Abraham Dual Completer in Coding, App, Game Design and Information Management Connor is currently completing a remote Internship, approximately two hours each day. He is employed by Mountain Leverage. After graduation, Connor plans to study a computer related field, possibly Graphic Design. IMPORTANT VARSITY BALL INFORMATION: If you plan to bring a guest who does not attend GHS to the Varsity Ball dance, you MUST get this form filled out and returned to Mr. McCarthy by 2/21. Students must either be enrolled in school and in good standing or you must attach a copy of a diploma with the form showing proof of graduation. If the student is currently homeschooled, you must attach proof of enrollment in a homeschool program. The form is uploaded on TEAMS.
