Library students met with researchers from the WV Humanities Council and WVU to kick off their veteran research projects on men and women buried in our local national cemeteries. They’ll begin those research projects next week, just in time for Veteran’s Day.

🎃 Today, groups of GHS students took part in the WVU Pumpkin Drop in Morgantown! Working in teams, they designed and engineered protective pumpkin contraptions, then watched them take the ultimate plunge off an 11-story building. Schools from across the region competed to land closest to the target and keep their pumpkin intact. Thank you to WVU for having us today and hosting this event! 🎃🤩

Thank you to Ms. Dalton for organizing another successful Bearcat Sugar Rush! This evening, we had 312 children visit Grafton High School and see all the offerings they can enjoy as they enter their high school years. Thank you for those who helped make this night a success: janitors, student volunteers after school who set up, groups that participated and the secret judge. Congratulations to Mrs. Sayres and ProStart for having the winning table.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for our amazing students, their families, our community members, and all donors who contributed to the Bearcats Fight Together fund.

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we raised $4,320 to support our GHS staff members currently facing serious medical battles. Your support means more than words can express.
