From March 1st until March 10th, FBLA will be sponsoring a Bags of Care event. Across the state there are 7,265 children in the foster care system. A majority of them only have a couple of trash or grocery bags to store their belongings from household to household. It is time for Grafton High School to help change this. The first two weeks of March, we will be collecting bags and other items to donate to the foster care system so that children can be provided with something to transport their personal items. We are asking for your help, Bearcats! We need donations such as- new or lightly used bookbags, totes, duffle bags, suitcases. We are also looking to collect hygiene products and undergarments. THE AA WITH THE MOST DONATED ITEMS WITH BE REWARDED WITH A PIZZA PARTY! ALL BAGS, TOTES, AND SUITCASES WILL BE WORTH 5 POINTS, WHILE HYGIENE PRODUCTS AND UNDERGARMENTS WILL BE AWARDED 1 POINT EACH. Please consider helping out and providing something for those in the foster care system!
