This evening, the GHS volleyball team and coaches made history at Grafton HS. They defeated East Fairmont and are the Region 1 Co Champions. Next week they will travel to Charleston to compete in the state tournament. This is the first time in school history that the volleyball team has qualified for states. Congratulations!!!

Our LSIC will host a stakeholders meeting on Monday, November 17, from 3:30 to 4:30. It is open to the public. Please enter at the main entrance. The purpose of the meetings includes the following.
1) Provide a platform for stakeholder input on improving academic performance

Library students met with researchers from the WV Humanities Council and WVU to kick off their veteran research projects on men and women buried in our local national cemeteries. They’ll begin those research projects next week, just in time for Veteran’s Day.

🎃 Today, groups of GHS students took part in the WVU Pumpkin Drop in Morgantown!
Working in teams, they designed and engineered protective pumpkin contraptions, then watched them take the ultimate plunge off an 11-story building. Schools from across the region competed to land closest to the target and keep their pumpkin intact.
