Today, Taylor County Schools proudly hosted the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) Regional Math Training. We welcomed Kβ5 teachers from across our county and neighboring counties for a day focused on building math instruction excellence.
Participants explored valuable math resources and strategies designed to strengthen student understanding and application of key math concepts.
A heartfelt thank-you to all the educators who joined us for this collaborative learning experience and to the WVDE for partnering with us to support high-quality math education across the region!

Check out this short video about modeling with mathematics in everyday life. In this clip, you'll see how modeling with mathematics is used to track the elk population in West Virginia.
