Several students were recognized during tonight's board meeting for their academic achievement. Congratulations to the Spelling Bee, Math Field Day, and Memorial Day Essay Winners!
In lieu of receiving their own treat bags for Valentine’s Days, students in Mrs. Halstead’s fourth grade class worked to create activity bags to donate to WVU Children’s Hospital. It was a rewarding way to celebrate both Valentine’s and Random Acts of Kindness Day.
Spring Carnival is just around the corner! PTO has sent home papers for each classroom's basket. Donations are due by March 14th. If you are unsure what your child’s class is doing, please feel free to reach out to the teacher or the PTO's page. Thank you!
Mrs. Duckworth's class decided to collect donations for the Taylor County Humane Society in place of sending in treat bag items for the Valentine's Day party. Jennifer Lowry came to pick up the donations, and she brought her dog Queso, who she adopted from the Humane Society.
All Taylor County Schools will begin on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, February 21st, 2025.
All Taylor County Schools will be utilizing a Non-Traditional Instruction Day today. This is NTI Day #5 for students. Students will learn from home and staff are to be available for support, from their assigned work site, from 10am-3pm.
