Dear Parents/Guardians, Community Members, Business Partners, and Vendors,
As we recognize the importance of enhancing the safety and security of our students, staff, and visitors, we are implementing a new procedure for campus entry at all Taylor County Schools and Facilities. Effective Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024, all visitors will be required to present a valid photo ID when entering the school building or facility.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Driver’s License
- State-issued ID card
- Passport
- Military ID
- Other government-issued photo IDs
This new measure is part of our commitment to maintaining a secure environment where our students can learn and thrive. Please make sure to bring a valid photo ID with you whenever you visit the school for any reason, including picking up or dropping off your child, attending meetings, or attending/participating in school events.
We understand that this may be an adjustment, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us implement this important security measure.
