Important Taylor County Schools Calendar Update: To recover instructional time missed due to previous weather closures, April 17th, 2025, is now a Regular Instructional Day. We appreciate your understanding as this change is in response to a requirement that once a school system exceeds the maximum number of allowable inclement weather closures it must make necessary adjustments to its calendar to ensure as much instructional time occurs and is as beneficial to its students as possible.
Due to personal illness, the Healthy Grandfamilies evening session scheduled for 2/13/25 at the Mary Battle Studio will be canceled. Mrs. Thorn will reach out to you with a new date within the next week.
All Taylor County Schools will begin on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 12th, 2025.
Bus Announcement: Bus # 80 will not run today, Friday, Feb. 7th. Middle School and High School students who normally ride that bus will be transported home on Bus # 24 or #25

Message from the TCS Technology Department: This afternoon, we identified an issue with our district's student information system (WVEIS) not syncing properly with Rooms, primarily affecting Elementary School data. We are actively working with the company to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Our goal is to restore syncing as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and will provide updates once a solution is in place.
Anna Jarvis Elementary School ONLY will be dismissing at 1:00pm (Friday, Jan. 31st) due to unresolved water issues.

Tomorrow, Thursday January 23rd, 2025, will be a Non-Traditional Instruction Day for all Taylor County Schools. This is NTI Day #4 for students. Students will learn from home and staff are to be available for support, from their assigned work site, from 10am-3pm.
