During the recent Board of Education Meeting of Tuesday, February 13, 2024, the Taylor County Board of Education once again became an official five-member body when Mr. Daniel Dowdy was sworn in to fill the recently vacated fifth position.
Mr. Dowdy’s selection and appointment was the result of a month-long successful process involving application receipt and review followed by interviewing potential candidates for the position conducted the other members of the Board of Education.
In accordance with policy and procedure, the position being filled by Mr. Dowdy is for the remainder of the current school year through June 30, 2024.
