The Taylor County Director of Technology , with assistance from the Technology Team and representatives at each school, is involved in planning and supporting technology in our schools and offices. We continue to improve our infrastructure, technology, tools and support. All schools are connected to the internet through our Wide Area Network.
Before using the Internet, staff and students are required to sign the County Acceptable Use Policy Agreement.

Don is the District Technology Specialist for Taylor County Schools. Don spearheads our work order process, maintains servers and wireless networks, and general maintenance and support of technology. He was a Mathematics teacher for thirty-five years, thirty-four in Taylor County. (Flemington High and Grafton High). He also served as Technology Coordinator at GHS. Don resides in Morgantown, WV.
Originally from the Charleston area. Carl received an Associate degree in Information Technology from WVJC and a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Salem University. He worked as a ground operations supervisor for two major airlines in Dulles VA and Atlanta GA respectively.
Employed with a well know infratructure support company for over 16 years, Carl served in a variety of roles, including help desk, project coordination, networking and served as the lead technician on major hardware deployments/implementations all across West Virginia and Kentucky. Previous experience includes working in Taylor county as an outsource technician handling software updates, imaging and projection installations.
Current duties include software updates, computer maintenance and repair, board and projector installations/maintenance, cable management and work order resolution.
